Wolfson flagship audio codes WM8741
WM8741 is widely used in high performance home audio system, while Pervasion is the first portable music player using one.

Power supply
WM8741 relies on 5V and 3.3V power supply respectively for the operation of analog and digital signal processing. The performance of step-up and LDO IC is of great importance as they are directly correlated to sound quality.

The 5V step-up efficiency of Pervasion reaches a high standard of 95%, top notch among the industry, while the 3.3V LDO power supply control noise to the lowest level possible.

Low-pass filter (LPF)
In line with KEMET's high frequency capacitor as low-pass filter, TI's op-amp LME49720 guarantees low noise and low noise and low distortion for lineout signals.

Analog & digital dual vol. control
Due to noise generated from DAC's signal processing, genuine ALPS potentiometer is implemented to limit noise and to enhance signal to noise ratio (SNR), together with WM8741's digital vol. control good channel balance at low volume will be ensured.

High voltage amplifying stage
